I am proud to announce that I have been chosen as Washington's Trial Lawyer of the Year for 2021. This Award is given once each year to the top trial attorney in the state chosen by the Washington State Association for Justice.
The inscription reads: "In recognition of your courage, tenacity and unwavering perseverance in fighting for "the little guy" to achieve what is right, fair, and just through your commitment to advancing the art and skill of advocacy."
It is named after Tom Chambers, who was a trial lawyer extraordinaire and former supreme court justice. It is particularly poignant to be chosen as the recipient of the Tom Chambers Trial Lawyer of the Year because Tom was my good friend and mentor.
The Trial Lawyer of the Year Award recognizes my commitment to pursuing justice in the Mancini case which created a new law "Negligent Execution of a Warrant" as well as my unwavering commitment to pursuing justice for "the little guy" against government, corporate and insurance injustice.
